It seems to have become an important part of secular humanism to attack the Bible on all fronts. Secular scientists love to attack the Bible, especially the book of Genesis. They are quick to replace Genesis with their own humanistic idea of evolution, which has become the religion of the world.
The truth is, science knows nothing of origins. True science can test how things work, but can't determine how things began. Science is able to measure the laws that govern the material universe but can't explain the starting point for those laws. It's when science moves toward explaining existence that it no longer is science but rather philosophy.
