The Ugly Enemy of Doubt

Luke 17:5 (NKJV) And the apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith."

I’m sure I don’t need to convince you just how much doubt undermines our faith. Right when we’re ready to step out on the promises of God, doubt raises it’s ugly head and instead of action, we’re now debating on whether to follow through. Why? What happened? Doubt. It created apprehension where boldness once was. Doubt created hesitancy where courage resided. Doubt. It easily turns our whole spiritual life on its head with no clear spiritual direction! It can be so frustrating!

It’s been said:
Doubt sees the obstacles; faith sees the way.
Doubt sees the darkest night; faith sees the day.
Doubt dreads to take a step; faith soars on high;
Doubt questions, "Who believes?" Faith answers, "I."

Ask God to increase your faith today. He loves to answer that prayer!

I LOVE that you guys do podcasts, that's how I listen to Wednesday night services! Just put on my headphones and clean the bathroom, laundry, etc. while I'm running around. By the way, the 4/28 service really spoke to my heart. As you know, April was a hard yet growing month for me. But, I'm thankful we're in May now and praying it's a better month.
